"Pastoral Renewal Leave got off to a great start as Laura and I took off almost immediately for Alaska. This type of trip has been on our "bucket list" for a long time. One of the many highlights of that trip was the opportunity to actually dogsled on one of Alaska's many glaciers. We also had the opportunity to celebrate our son-in-law's graduation from Simpson College where he received a Master's in Choral Conducting. From there we spent some time in Green Lake, Wisconsin with kids and grandkids. So far this leave has gone very well and has afforded me the opportunity to slow down, reconnect with my family, and recharge spiritually. The final part of PRL will be focused more on preparing for the next season of ministry for GCC. We miss everyone and are looking forward to reconnecting soon."
