The Gospel of Luke presents a detailed, compassionate account of Jesus’ life, teachings (lots of parables!), and miracles. With an emphasis on His outreach to the marginalized, Luke boldly claims the fulfillment of God’s promises through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Written in polished Greek, it is addressed to a Gentile audience, and provides the most orderly, historical account of who Jesus was, what He said, and what He did. More than any other gospel, Luke highlights Jesus’ role as Savior for all people, Jews and Gentiles alike.


Join us on Sunday mornings for our in-depth exploration of Luke’s gospel. We gather in the Community Room at 8:00 am and 9:15 am each Sunday (same class repeated).

The Summer of Wisdom

Join us Sunday mornings at 8:00 or 9:15 am (8:30 am when we move to one service) as we explore the Book of Proverbs together during our adult Sunday school class. Proverbs provides wisdom for godly living and helps us reflect God’s glory in the details of daily life. It demonstrates that God’s ways are intensely practical and apply to every aspect of our lives and relationships. The main emphasis of the book is to show that relating rightly to God involves, first, seeking to understand his truth, and second, embracing and obeying that truth. Together, these provide the way of wisdom. Class begins April 26 in the Community Room. We look forward to seeing you there!
